Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019): budget tablet with stylus S Pen support

Samsung has announced its new budget tablet - Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019).

What is known

Device

equipped with an 8-inch LCD screen withresolution 1920x1200 pixels. The eight-core Exynos 7904 processor is responsible for performance. It is also installed in the Galaxy M20 smartphone. The new product is also equipped with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of ROM, a slot for memory cards (up to 512 GB), a 4200 mAh battery with a USB-C port, 8 megapixel main and 5 megapixel front cameras. There is no fingerprint scanner in the tablet, nor is there a Face Unlock function.

Among the features, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has support for the S Pen stylus (it is built into the body of the device) and 4G LTE network. The tablet out of the box runs on Android 9 Pie with the proprietary One UI shell.

Price and when to wait

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) will be available soon in some Asian and European countries. The price of the device has not yet been reported.
