Today, Samsung, as promised, introduced a new generation of its “smart” watches - Galaxy Watch Active 2.

There are several watch versions to choose from, whichdiffer in size (dial diameter 40 and 44 mm) and material (aluminum with rubber strap or stainless steel with leather strap). The 40 mm version has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360×360 and a 247 mAh battery, the 44 mm version has a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360×360 and a larger battery of 340 mAh.
Inside, there is a dual-core Exynos 9110 processor along with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. They also promise an LTE version with 1.5 GB of RAM, but most likely only in the USA.
The watch runs on the Tizen operating system. As expected, the mechanical bezel was replaced with a touch one.

What can
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 can track39 types of workouts, including running, walking, cycling, rowing and dynamic training. There is also a heart rate sensor, ECG, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC and water protection according to the IP68 standard.
With the Samsung Health app you cantrack stress levels and monitor sleep quality. In addition, on the watch you can view social networks and movie trailers, translate text into 16 languages in real time, review pictures and control the smartphone camera (Watch Camera Controller function in help).

Price
Sales start on September 27, but pre-orders can be made from September 6. The 40mm version costs $279.99, and the 44mm version costs $299.99.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will arrive in Ukrainealso on sale at the end of September. The version with an aluminum case was priced at 8,999 hryvnia (40 mm) and 9,999 hryvnia (44 mm). For the stainless steel version with a leather strap you will have to pay 11,999 hryvnia (40 mm) and 12,999 hryvnia (44 mm).
