Design, fold and screen
Instead of being half a tablet like the GalaxyFold, the Galaxy Z Flip folds on itself, horizontally. Essentially, this is a flip smartphone. Its edges are soft and the finish is shiny, with two colors to choose from — Mirror Purple or Mirror Black.
It is convenient to hold it both when folded andopen variants, and it doesn't look too heavy despite the impressive technology hidden inside. Product weight is 183 g — by comparison, it's slightly lighter than the iPhone 11 Pro (188g).
The screen on the outside is pretty much only goodto view the time and reject calls. We imagine that short text notifications will also be easier to read. When we open the device, it feels sturdy and reassuring. This time the screen is not a plastic film — Samsung actually managed to bend a real glass panel. This means it will be harder to scratch than the material we had on the Galaxy Fold. We really hope!
The AMOLED panel is as beautiful as the screensSamsung — it's a 6.7-inch screen with a 21.9:9 aspect ratio. However, the OneUI interface has been designed in such a way that any active content tends to be located closer to the bottom half of the screen, so you don't have to constantly stretch your thumb.
It's pretty cool that the phone can be unfolded in different directions — for example, you can put it on a table for selfies or video chats.
Hardware and Performance
Flip powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor855 Plus. Yes, this is a 2019 chip, but it is quite worthy. It comes with 8 GB of RAM, which is not as crazy as 12 GB in the Galaxy S20 series, but that’s enough for a modern Android device.
So how does it work? Well enough. Z Flip is pretty confident in his hands.
Camera
You have two 12-megapixel cameras at your disposal on the back — regular and ultra-wide angle — and a 10-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
They give clear, detailed images with rich color. Of course, we will need more time for a full review. But the prospects here are pretty good.

You can buy the new product on the manufacturer’s official website. The cost of the 256 GB / 8 GB RAM version — 119,990 rubles. The first batch has already been completely sold.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip — this is a smartphonewith a completely different concept. This is not a flagship aimed at the mass consumer, it is rather a “tech accessory”. A cool and stylish smartphone that is also practical as it can be folded and fit into any pocket.
