Samsung, a month after the announcement of the Galaxy A42 5G smartphone, published its detailed specifications.

So, the Galaxy A42 5G is equipped with 6.6-inch Infinity-U HD+ Super AMOLED display and plastic body in three colors: Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Gray. The smartphone received an eight-core processor with a built-in 5G modem, as well as two cores at 2.2 GHz and four cores at 1.8 GHz. The company did not specify the chip model, but it is most likely the new Snapdragon 750G SoC.

On the back of the device there are fourcamera module. The main sensor is 48 MP wide-angle (f/1.8). It is complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.0), a 5 MP depth sensor (f/2.4) and a 5 MP macro sensor (f/2.4). The new main camera is 20 megapixels. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15 W fast charging.
The Galaxy A42 5G has an under-screen scanner and a connectorfor headphones, but nothing is said about NFC. The device will be supplied in three modifications: 4/128 GB, 6/128 GB or 8/128 GB. The built-in storage can be expanded with a memory card.
Price and when to wait
Sales of the Galaxy A42 5G will start next month. The new product in Europe will cost from 369 euros.
