Samsung introduced a new laptop from the Galaxy Book Flex series, which the company positions as a tool for work

and entertainment.

What is known

Galaxy Book Alpha получил 13.3-inch QLED display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Such a screen provides not only a colorful picture, but also excellent viewing angles, which is important for a laptop in a 2-in-1 transformable form factor. In addition, the display is touch-sensitive and supports Active Pen.

Additional features worth noting include a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0 ports and an HD camera.

"Alpha" will run on Intel processors,The model of which depends on the configuration, along with integrated Intel UHD Graphics. 8 or 12 gigabytes of RAM will be supplied, and the user will be offered to store information on an NVMe SSD with a capacity of up to 512 GB.

Samsung does not indicate the exact battery capacity,but it promises up to 17 hours of operation. In addition, the Galaxy Book Alpha supports fast charging. The laptop weighs 1.19 kg, and all the “stuffing” fits into an aluminum case with a thickness of 13.9 mm.

Sales of the Galaxy Book Flex Alpha will start in the first half of 2020, and the price starts at $830.
