Samsung has updated its smartwatch lineup with two more new variants, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, which recently

were introduced in South Korea.Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition and LTE Aluminum — These are fairly niche products aimed at a specific category of buyers, but this does not mean that they cannot become mainstream if more people buy them.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition

As the name suggests, the Galaxy Watch Active 2Golf Edition is for those who like to play golf. This version includes a state-of-the-art golf tracking tool and the Smart Caddy app. The latter is considered the best app for golfers as it provides information on more than 40,000 golf courses around the world.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition will beAvailable in aqua black (44 mm) and rose gold (40 mm). As for the price, the smaller version will retail for the equivalent of $295 in South Korea, while the larger model — $325.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE Aluminum

The second smart watch Galaxy Watch Active 2,Announced this week, the LTE Aluminum is aimed at "younger buyers" and costs the same as the Golf Edition model. Since it supports LTE, users can make calls and send text messages using the Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE Aluminum. Like the Golf Edition, they will be available in two sizes — 40mm and 44mm, and customers will be able to choose from three colours: Aqua Black, Cloud Silver and Pink Gold.

Regarding accessibility, both versions of smart watchesavailable for purchase in South Korea starting today, but Samsung has confirmed (through The Korea Herald) that the Golf Edition will be released in the US and the UK, and the LTE Aluminum will be available in Europe.
