
Samsung has once again become the leader in the TV market. It has maintained its position since 2006, i.e. 17 years in a row.
What is known
In 2022, the South Korean manufacturergenerated 29.7% of global television sales revenue. The share of Samsung in the segment from $2500 was 46.2%. Moreover, it has not fallen below 40% since 2019.
In the reporting period, the South Korean technologicalthe giant sold 9.65 million TVs based on premium Neo QLED panels. A series of TVs with quantum dot matrices appeared in 2017. Since then, cumulative sales have reached 35 million units.
At CES 2023 early last monthSamsung has announced a new generation of Neo QLED TVs. The cost of 4K UHD models was $1200-5800. The 8K UHD line costs between $3,500 and $6,300, but the price of the most expensive 85” TV has yet to be announced.
