Samsung resumes update Galaxy S20 FE to One UI 3.1

Not so long ago, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphones with a new version of the proprietary shell

One UI 3.1, but suspended its distribution after a few days. The firmware is now available again for Galaxy S20 FE owners.

What happened

This reissue is assigned the same numberOne UI 3.1 builds as before. Therefore, most likely, the pause was not associated with some errors and bugs in the assembly. The update weighs about 1.7 GB, so before downloading it is better to make sure there is enough space and recharge your smartphone.

The update may have been paused in order to update more premium devices. For example, the other day One UI 3.1 began to receive the flagships Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20.

In any case, the update is only available for the Galaxy S20 FE with 5G support for now, but it will most likely soon be available for LTE versions as well.

Recall One UI 3.1 brings an updated interface to the Galaxy S20 FE, support for Google Discover on the desktop, the ability to add effects to video calls in third-party apps, remove location data from photos, and more.
