Samsung shuts down factory due to one coronavirus infected

Media reported that Samsung closed its plant in Gumi (South Korea) due to one person infected with coronavirus.

The facility will be disinfected throughout the day.

Kumi factory produces mobilecompany devices. Samsung plans to decontaminate the premises on Sunday, February 23. They want to resume manufacturing devices on Monday February 24th. The suspension of work for one day will not have to affect the volume of production of smartphones.

It is also reported that employees who had contact with the infected person voluntarily agreed to go into quarantine.

It should be noted that according to the Control Center andDisease Prevention at the Ministry of Health of South Korea, 14 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Gyeongsangbukto, where Kumi is located.
