Samsung still update the old flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 to Android 10

It seems that Samsung has decided to update the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 to the latest version of the Android operating system.

What does it mean

Previously on the list of models that will receive Android10 with the proprietary One UI 2.0 shell, there was no Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8. Not surprising, since these are 2017 flagships, and Samsung usually only updates smartphones that are no more than two years old. Therefore, the “oldies” had to stay with Android 9 Pie.

However, Samsung support reported a differentinformation: communicating with one of the users, employees said that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 will receive Android 10. The update is expected to be released “during 2020.”

We hope that this is not a mistake, and Samsung will not abandon its old flagships.
