Samsung still update the old flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 to Android 10

It seems that Samsung decided to update the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 to the latest version of the Android operating system.

What does it mean

Previously on the list of models that will receive Android10 with the proprietary shell One UI 2.0, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 was not. Not surprisingly, these are the flagships of 2017, and usually Samsung only updates smartphones that are no more than two years old. Therefore, the "old people" had to stay with Android 9 Pie.

However, Samsung support reported anotherinformation: communicating with one of the users, employees said that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 will receive Android 10. The update is expected to be released "during 2020".

We hope that this is not a mistake, and Samsung still will not leave its old flagships.
