It belongs to the category of smartphones and tablets, but since the company has already registered the brands “Galaxy Z” and “Z Flip” for smartphones, “Galaxy Z Fold”, according to sources, refers specifically to tablets.

Thus, a folding tablet will join the seriesGalaxy Z, which already has several smartphone models with flexible screens. By the way, the announcement of two more new products is expected in the middle of the year - Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
