Samsung unveils 5nm dual-core Exynos W920 chipset

Samsung Exynos W920 is the successor to Exynos 9110, which the South Korean IT giant introduced about three years ago along with

original Galaxy Watch. The new chip will power the upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic.

Manufactured using the latest 5nmSamsung's technological process using EUV lithography. The W920 received two ARM Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G68 GPU. Samsung claims the new chipset is about 20% faster than the Exynos 9110 in the CPU benchmark. Plus, it offers 10x the graphics performance.

Gizmochina reports that the chipset canwork with displays with resolutions up to 960×540 pixels. . Additionally, there is a Cortex-M55 core with low power consumption, which is responsible for the Always-on Display function. There is an integrated 4G modem, a global satellite navigation system, a Wi-Fi b/g/n module and Bluetooth 5.0.
