Samsung unveils Galaxy M52 5G in Europe with 120Hz AMOLED display, NFC, Snapdragon 778G chip, 64MP camera and no headphone jack

Samsung, without much fanfare, has announced a new Galaxy M52 5G smartphone in Europe.

What is known

New

received a plastic case and 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 32MP punch-hole front camera. The main one, in turn, has three sensors. The main sensor has a resolution of 64 MP and an aperture of f/1.8. It is complemented by a 12 MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 and a 5 MP macro camera with f/2.4.

Running Galaxy M52 5Geight-core 5G processor Snapdragon 778G, and the device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. The battery supports 25W fast charging. Other specifications of the smartphone include 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM, a microSD slot, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port and Bluetooth 5.0, but the headphone jack is not new.

The device is supplied with the Android 11 operating system. The proprietary One UI 3.1 shell is installed on top of it. The novelty will be sold in three colors: white, black and blue.

Price and when to wait

Unfortunately, Samsung has not yet disclosed the start date of sales and the price tag of the smartphone. If rumors are to be believed, the new product will cost €380/$450.
