Samsung will upgrade its Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 smartphones to One UI 2.1

The flagship Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip are the only Samsung smartphones that run on

new One UI 2.1 shell. However, the company plans to install it on its other devices.

What is known

This was reported by one of the forum moderatorsSamsung Community. According to him, the new system should be expected on the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones. There is no information yet when exactly the firmware will be released. One can only assume that last year’s smartphones will be the first to receive it.

What to expect

One UI 2 shell.1 brings minor changes to the interface, improved gesture controls, Screen Zoom for screen scaling, and Samsung Quick Share for quickly transferring files between Galaxy smartphones. This is essentially the equivalent of Apple AirDrop.
