The authors of the new work within the framework of the SIRIUS project conducted two experiments, the first lasted 17 days, the second lasted 120 days.
The researchers noticed that team members began to communicate less well with the control center, sharing fewer and fewer of their needs and concerns.
The crews of such missions, as a rule, reduce communication with the Control Center, share their needs and problems less and less.Increased contact was observed during important events, such as landing simulations.
Dmitry Shved, one of the authors of the study
During the experiment, the authors recorded 320conversations of the crew members with outside observers, they lasted 11 hours in the first 10 days only. But over the next 10 days, that figure dropped to just 34 conversations, lasting a total of 77 minutes.
The researchers also noted differences in the behavior of women and men, with the former most often having the emotion of joy or sadness, while the latter most often had the emotion of anger. But by the end of the experiment, those differences had disappeared.
As a result, the authors observed how the team's cohesion grows.hope for the success of the future mission.
