Researchers from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have connected the genitals of an ancient insect
The insect fossil was found in 2006. It was divided in half, the fracture passing right through the place of the genital capsule. The age of the fossil, by the way, was estimated at 50 million years.

The body of the insect is only 12.4 mm long, it is elongated and thin. The genital capsule of the predatory bug, also called pygofer, did not exceed 3.1 mm in length.
