Scientists have found many naturally occurring atomic bombs in space. They assumed that in their role

white dwarfs may appear.

According to Futurism, white dwarfs cancrystallized radioactive materials appear. As uranium decays and becomes more unstable, it sets off a nuclear fission reaction chain. This results in a powerful explosion, similar to an atomic bomb.

This discovery runs counter to the more widespread belief that Type 1a supernovae are the result of a white dwarf passing closely by a companion star.

However, until scientists have found directevidence that crystallized radioactive materials can actually trigger explosions. The researchers now have to test their hypothesis in a computer simulation.
