Scientists have found out how physical labor affects the occurrence of senile dementia

Information has appeared online about a new study by scientists from Denmark. They managed to figure out how physical labor

influences the occurrence of senile dementia.

As it turned out, workers working onprofessions associated with manual labor are 55% more likely to suffer from dementia in old age, compared with those who mainly work "head", according to Yahoo Sports. This is due to the fact that this type of labor wears out both the brain and internal organs (mainly the cardiovascular system). Interestingly, earlier scientists, on the contrary, were of the opinion that such work only reduces the risk of deterioration of the cognitive functions of the brain.

Note that all the same Danish scientists declare that physical activity at work and in free time has the opposite effect on the human body.
