Scientists have identified a supplement that can fight senile dementia

Recent research into brain function has shown that testosterone supplementation

can significantly improve brain health in older people.

For this, scientists from Edith Cowan Universityconducted an analysis of the results of previous randomized control trials, in which experts tried to find out whether taking testosterone improves cognitive function in older men. As a result, the co-author of this study, associate professor Hamid Sohrabi from the Center for Excellence in Research and Treatment of Alzheimer's Diseases, was able to find convincing evidence that the addition of testosterone can still have a favorable effect on decision making, judgment and the ability to solve problems by older men .

"As we age, our brain gradually shrinks, leading to decreased memory and other cognitive functions. Our latest data show that adding testosterone can help men stay healthy until they are old, ”said Professor Sohrabi.
