Scientists have proven that extreme heat or cold makes people hate each other

A new study has found that temperatures above or below a comfort window of 12-21 degrees Celsius are associated with

a marked increase in aggressive behavior on the Internet. Discuss

At first, scientists identified more than four billionhate tweets from US users and then combined them with weather data. It turned out that both the absolute number and the proportion of aggressive messages increase when it is either too cold or too hot outside.

“Even in high-income areas where people can afford air conditioning and other heat mitigation options, we are seeing an increase in hate tweets on very hot days,” the scientists noted.
