China seems to be becoming a center of scientific and technological thought. A new study shows that more and more
The authors of the work found that more than 16 thousandscientists returned to China. More than 4,500 researchers came back from the United States specifically in 2017. Experts learned about this by analyzing the Elsevier scientific publications database. They studied scientists' publications in scientific journals and looked at what organizations they were affiliated with.
As it turned out, Chinese scientists more often chose tomoving the United States than Europe, and then more likely to return home from Europe. But the main thing that the authors of the work saw was an increase in the number of researchers who generally returned home. Interestingly, those scientists who returned from abroad more often published more significant works.
