Scientists will create an incognito mode in the metaverse

Scientists from the University of California, Berkeley, and the Technical University of Munich are developing

technology to completely conceal the presence of a person in the metaverse.

It will be a kind of incognito mode, withwith which you can provide some anonymity in the browser. But only locally, because in fact it is still possible to collect all the necessary information about a person.

For truly effective concealment, moveof a person in the virtual space and all his digital footprints, researchers began developing the MetaGuard tool, which allows you to block the tracking of a user's digital footprints, including identification data, geolocation and movement. In addition to being anonymous in the digital space, the new technology will “hide” the very fact of when, where and how a person interacts with virtual reality.
