See aircraft equipped with the technology of the future

This week, Brazilian aerospace company Embraer showed off new aircraft concepts

which will help reduce carbon emissions.Equipped with future technologies, they will adapt the aviation industry to “zero 2050,” the company’s press service explained. We are talking about a plan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Previously, Embraer examined in detail four new aircraft concepts equipped with advanced technologies and renewable energy sources. The company is now focusing on two concepts.

One of them is called Energia Hybrid, there are twomodels - for 19 and 30 seats. The aircraft is equipped with a parallel hybrid-electric propulsion system. Technologies for this concept will be ready by 2035.

The second concept is the Energia H2 fuel celldesigned for 30 seats. The model will use a hydrogen-electric powertrain and rear-mounted electric motors. Technologies for the aircraft will be ready by 2035.

Both aircraft concepts and technologies are evaluated for technical and commercial viability.

This week, the company broadcast a video inlive on their YouTube channel (above), detailing their Energia plans and showing a 360-degree view of the two concepts Embraer is focusing on, the Energia H2 Fuel Cell and Energia Hybrid Electric.
