The history of the creation of a jet truck began withmotorsport enthusiast and event planner Neil Darnell missed the adrenaline rush of his real estate business and decided to return to motorsport. Passionate about jet engines, he wondered how a military-grade jet engine could work on a Chevy model. The result was the Flash Fire Chevy car.

Neil's son, Chris, later contributed to the development.Darnell. He installed three J34-48 Pratt & Whitney from a US Navy aircraft to provide the vehicle with a total output of 36,000 horsepower.

Together, the engines develop a thrust of 9,525 kg.Thanks to her, the Shockwave model set the record for the fastest semi-truck - it developed a speed of 603 km / h. In 2021, the Darnell family will release the Shockwave "Top Gun" with a new design and artillery from the US Army.
