On June 16, astronauts partially installed the first of six new solar arrays on the space station, but technical and equipment problems delayed their work. 

Sand, which will go into outer space infourth time, will be wearing a spacesuit with red stripes designating him as a leading participant in the spacewalk. Kimbrough, wearing a plain white EV2 spacesuit, will be making his eighth spacewalk, NASA said.

This will be their fourth joint spacewalk. They made two joint spacewalks during the expedition in 2017. Now they are part of the crew of the Expedition 65 station.
