See how the famous blogger's printed organs operate

Tom Scott, a British YouTuber, assisted in the robotic surgery performed on a copy of his

entrails. The 3D model was printed by Lazarus 3D. A real practicing surgeon participated in the blogger’s project. He worked on a full-size, realistic replica of the YouTuber's abdomen, complete with liver, spleen and kidneys.

Representatives of Lazarus 3D usedmedical scanner to obtain data on the size, shape and position of Tom Scott's organs. Engineers then made a replica of his abdominal cavity. Luckily, there was nothing abnormal in Tom's body and he didn't need surgery, so the company artificially added a cyst to his kidney for surgeons to remove during the demonstration.
