Therefore, it produces less noise, operates more efficiently, and does not leave the marks associated with fluid leaks in hydraulic drives that are common in most robots. During testing, ARTEMIS accelerated to 2.1 m/s, making it the fastest humanoid robot in the world.
The ability of a robot to respond and adapt toexternal influences is associated with the operation of many sensors. Each leg of the ARTEMIS is equipped with specially designed force sensors that help the machine maintain its balance while moving. He also has an orientation block and cameras in his head to help him perceive his surroundings.
