See Mexico's Popocatepetl volcano erupt

The Popocatepetl volcano periodically “smoke” and emit small portions of dust in recent years. But

starting September 2022, when in Mexicotwo strong earthquakes occurred (about 7.5 on the Richter scale), the volcano became more active and began to scare local residents more and more intensely - it is located 90 km from the capital.

Two days ago, the volcano erupted in the middle of the night, whichincreased the threat to yellow (phase 2), and significant air pollution. Volcanologists flew over the crater to see the extent of the eruption and assess potential risks.

However, the next night Popocatepetl repeatederuption, and did it in such a way that the entire sky over Mexico City was covered with a gray haze consisting of volcanic dust. Experts have warned that air pollution in the city is outside the norm, so residents are asked to refrain from long walks.

Social networks are actively discussing the eruption of Popocatepetl, publishing photographs and videos showing how the volcano, its height is 5,426, releases a giant column of smoke.
