But a video posted by NASA shows a cloud of dust forming during takeoff and landing of the Ingenuity helicopter.
NASA received data on this phenomenon from the multispectral instrument for obtaining stereoscopic images Mastcam-Z.
The picture on the left uses filtering.motion to show where dust was detected during takeoff and landing, and the picture on the right has been improved with particle motion filtering data.
This is necessary in order to see the dust devils passing by the rovers. The ghostly helicopter "cutout" seen in each image below is an artifact associated with digital processing.
