NASA has revealed a new "ultra-deep" image taken by the James Webb Space Telescope. On him

visible is the "Pandora Cluster" or Abell 2744. In fact, this megacluster consists of three separate galaxy clusters.

Abell 2744 has so much mass that its gravitydistorts the fabric of space-time, creating the effect of gravitational lensing. This phenomenon, predicted by Einstein, allowed "James Webb" to peer much further into space.

Images created using the toolNIRCam, which had a six-hour exposure, totaled about 30 hours. Astronomers studied this region as part of the UNCOVER program (Ultradeep NIRSpec and NIRCam ObserVations before the Epoch of Reionization, ultra-deep observations before the Epoch of Reionization). The new view of the Pandora cluster combines four Webb images into a single panoramic image displaying approximately 50,000 sources of near-infrared light.
