NGC 6569 is a globular cluster in the constellation Sagittarius. It was discovered in 1784 by astronomer William Herschel.

Globular clusters are stable, closelyconnected objects containing tens of thousands to millions of stars. Clusters have a strong gravitational pull, which means they have a regular spherical shape and a high density in the center. This can be seen in the resulting image.
The picture was taken with a wide-angle telescope camera.During this time, the Hubble telescope team observed globular clusters that are close to the center of the Milky Way. Early studies did not study such objects because dust spreading throughout the center of the Galaxy blocks light from these globular clusters and changes the actual color of the star.
The latter factor is especially important for astronomers who study the evolution of stars, since the color can tell about their age, composition and temperature.
