The Starliner capsule, carrying only a test dummy, was seen for the first time tonight
This time Starliner launched on a United rocketLaunch Alliance Atlas V at 01:54 UTC May 20 from Spaceport 41 at Cape Canaveral in Florida. The uncrewed spacecraft successfully docked with the space station's Harmony module a day later at 3:28 Moscow time on May 21.
"Welcome, Starliner!“Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency, who arrived at the ISS in April on the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, wrote on Twitter. She accompanied her post with photographs taken from the space station.

Во время испытательного полета Starliner доставил на МКС около 220 кг груза НАСА и припасов для экипажа, а также более 130 кг груза Boeing. В космическом агентстве сообщают, что после сертификации миссии на борту Starliner доставят на станцию до четырех членов экипажа, что позволит расширить численность экипажа станции и увеличить объем научных исследований, которые могут выполняться на борту орбитальной лаборатории.
