Segway Ninebot S Max on Indiegogo: self-balancing hoverboard with a range of up to 38 km and support for GoKart Pro

The company Segway Ninebot, which is now owned by Xiaomi, announced its

new self-balancing hoverboard.

What is known

It was called the Segway Ninebot S Max. The new product has become a global version of the Ninebot Scooter MAX Sports, which debuted in China last year.

Like the Chinese model, Segway Ninebot S Maxsupports GoKart Pro package. Using it, the wheels of the device can be connected to the card. In this mode of use, Ninebot S Max will travel up to 25 km at a speed of 37 km/h. If the new product is used as a hoverboard, then the power reserve will increase to 38 km, and the speed will decrease to 20 km/h.

Interestingly, the Segway Ninebot S Max also receivedheight-adjustable handle in the form of a steering wheel with built-in display. According to the company, the device is easier to control using the handle. The hoverboard weighs 22.8 kg. The new product is powered by a built-in 432 Wh battery. It charges in about 4 hours.

Price and when to wait

You can purchase the Segway Ninebot S Max on Indiegogo for $849. The first deliveries of the hoverboard will begin in April this year.
