Segway S-Pod: futuristic egg-driven throne on wheels

On the eve of CES 2020, which will be held January 7-10 in Las Vegas, an American manufacturer

Gyro-scooter Segway introduced a chair on wheels S-Pod.

What it is

Representatives of Segway say that the film "Jurassic World" inspired them to create this miracle transport. Or rather, those transparent balls on which the main characters rode past dinosaurs.

But the Segway S-Pod is more like an egg-shaped chair. This is an alternative to conventional cars, however, for just one person.

Like gyro scooters, the chair itself balances on two wheels. But to control the joystick is provided on the right side of the seat.

Chair speed - up to 40 kilometers per hour, itwithstands up to 150 kg. Theoretically, you can ride it in a store, in a park, even outside the city. The main thing is that the weather helps, because in frost, cold and rain the trip will definitely be uncomfortable.
