Sharp decided to keep up with its competitors and showed a prototype of the future at an event in Japan

smartphone with a folding display.

The device is similar to a “clamshell”.It has a 6.18-inch display with an AMOLED matrix, a resolution of 3040×1440 pixels and a notch at the top.
