Operation Shattered Web has launched in CS:GO: new operators, maps and a battle pass

Valve finally got to CS:GO and released the first operation in two years, which will add “agents” to the game.

What is known

Valve has released Operation Shattered Web(Shattered Web) on the night of November 19, adding new operators and missions to CS:GO. Unlike Rainbow Six Siege, the characters do not use special gadgets or weapons, but differ only in appearance. Operators are unlocked by completing Battle Pass missions. With the purchase of a subscription, the player gains access to tasks, completing which he earns stars to unlock rewards. Moreover, the missions will affect all modes, including Danger Zone.

As a reward for completing Battle Pass missionsPlayers will receive not only characters, but also sprays, Shattered Web stickers, cases with Shattered Web weapons and guns from three new collections.

Along with the battle pass, Valve is giving out“Shattered Web Coin”, which players will also upgrade. The medal will serve as some kind of indicator of progress. After completing 33 missions, the player will make the coin silver, and after 66 missions, it will become gold. To receive a diamond reward, you will have to complete 100 tasks.

Operation Shattered Web will also add three newmaps for standard modes - Studio, Jungle and Lunacy. In addition, Cache returned to the list of competitive matchmaking maps, and Vertigo underwent changes.
