Shenzen UFO Flying Saucer Technology showed a passenger drone in the form of a flying saucer

Researchers from Beihang University and Northwestern Polytechnic University of China

together with Shenzen UFO Flying Saucer Technology showed an unusual electric passenger drone.

What is known

eVTOL was presented at an event in Shenzhen. The drone looks like a patching plate. It is equipped with 6 holes with 12 blades. The design provides maximum stability and safety thanks to evenly distributed traction. By the way, such an aircraft is capable of landing not only on land, but also on water.

The electric flying saucer has a battery with a runtime of up to 15 minutes. The drone can fly at an altitude of up to 200 meters and at a maximum speed of up to 50 km/h. The device has an autopilot.

The drone developers are planning to use the new product for sightseeing and promotions. There are no plans for mass production yet.
