Silent Hill film director confirms development of several new games in the series

Director Christophe Gans, who directed the first film adaptation of Silent Hill and is currently working on

the next film in the series, confirmed media reports that several new games in the franchise are in development.

I cooperate with the Silent Team, the originalauthors at Konami, several parts of the series are currently in development at once, different teams are working on them, this is a long list of games that will revive the franchise.

Christoph Gan noted that the Polish studio Bloober Team is really working on a remake of Silent Hill 2.

For those who are not in the know

Insiders have repeatedly reported that Konami is developing three new games:

1. The aforementioned remake of Silent Hill 2, which is being worked on by the Bloober Team.
2. Publisher Annapurna Interactive is working on an unknown Silent Hill game with episodic narration.
3. An unnamed Japanese studio is developing a brand new Silent Hill game that will reboot the franchise.
