Skype application on Android and iOS will get screen sharing feature

Microsoft plans to allow Skype users to share their mobile phone screens during video calls.

Previously, this could only be done from a PC.

Soon in all smartphones

Microsoft has started testingnew screen sharing feature for Android and iOS. They suggest that Skype users will find it easier to share presentations or make online purchases with friends. This is also useful for many companies: each video conference participant will be able to show their ideas and documents without having access to a computer.

For now the update is only availablebeta testers, but should be available to everyone in the near future. Considering that the 50-person video chat support has been in testing for less than a month, this is expected to happen very soon.
