Slack corporate messenger developers have rebuilt the Windows and macOS version of the application. Update should

significantly improve performance.

Maximum compatibility

According to the Slack team, the speed increaseshould be about 33%. Indeed, the application opens much faster, both in the web and in the desktop version. Rebuilding the base code should reduce memory consumption by up to 50%. Slack no longer creates a separate copy of the application for each workspace, which also improves performance.

Separately, the developers have worked on offlinemode. Now the messenger will show the cached content, even if the user is not connected to the network. Work on the update took the Slack team two years.
