Slovenia buys Spike LR2 anti-tank missile systems worth €6,670,000

Spike - Israeli multifunctionalanti-tank missile system. Developed by Rafael and produced under license in Europe. The development of the ATGM began in the late 1970s, and it was put into service in 1982. Spike LR2 is a modified version for long-range shooting - up to 5500 m. The ATGM is capable of penetrating 850-900 mm of armor. Spike LR2 can be installed on armored vehicles and helicopters.
