Smart watch Huawei Watch GT 2: ring without a smartphone, download music, and now in two sizes

At today's presentation, together with the smartphones Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 RS Porsche Design, Huawei introduced

a new generation of smart watches - Watch GT 2.

What changed

Unlike last year's Watch GT, the new model received two versions - 42 and 46 mm. The larger version is similar to its predecessor: a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 × 454.






The younger version is smaller and thinner, and the frames around the screen are almost invisible. This version has a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 390 × 390 pixels.

Both have a metal case and are protected from water and dust (5ATM), and the display protects the rounded 3D glass. On the sides are two physical buttons.

Battery capacity lasts up to 14 days in the 46 mm version and up to 7 days in the 42 mm version.

What can

The clock works on the Kirin A1 platform, which is already familiar to us from the Freebuds 3 headphones.

One of the main features of the Huawei Watch GT 2 isthe ability to make calls using Bluetooth and built-in microphone and speaker, being at a distance of up to 150 meters from the smartphone. You can also not only control the playback of music, but also upload up to 500 tracks to your watch.

The watch also supports 15 kinds of trackingsports (8 types of outdoor physical activity (running, walking, climbing mountains, cross-country running, cycling, open water swimming and triathlon) and seven types of indoor training (walking, running, exercise bike, swimming in the pool , free training, classes on elliptical and rowing simulators), measuring stress levels, quality of sleep and heart rate, did not forget about GPS.

New models are running the Huawei LiteOS operating system.

The 42 mm version was valued at € 229, for larger watches, you will have to pay € 249.
