Smartphone Kingrow K1 with E-ink screen and a $ 300 price tag was released on Indiegogo

A month ago we wrote that a group of developers had created the Kingrow K1 smartphone with energy-efficient E-Ink

screen. Now the new product has finally appeared on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.

What is known

For a few days of collecting young company fundsmanaged to attract more than $ 60,000. Now they are asking for $ 300 for the device, but after the official release the price tag will increase to $ 350. If everything goes well, the first buyers will receive their smartphones in August of this year.

Let us remind you that Kingrow K1 received a black and white 5.17-inch E-Ink screen with 1280×720p resolution and 283 ppi density. Thanks to it and a 3100 mAh battery, the new product will last 2 days in smartphone mode, 7 days in e-reader mode and up to 14 days in standby mode. Under the hood of the device there is a MediaTek Helio P23 processor with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. Kingrow K1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
