Users began complaining on the Reddit forum that the developer company Niantic was blocking their accounts for no reason.
All of them have a common denominator - the presence of a Xiaomi or Redmi smartphone. Including Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 5, as well as other models.

Accounts blocked for usemodified or illegal software, although users claim that they did not do anything “illegal.” Most likely, the game finds a problem in the proprietary MIUI shell or other applications.
Some had their accounts suspended for 30 days, while others had their accounts closed completely.
Niantic has not yet commented on this information.
