Snapchat filters will appear in Viber

Rakuten Viber announced a partnership with Snap (developer of the Snapchat app).

SAN FRANCISCO, June 30, 2021 &#8211; RakutenViber, the global leader in messaging and voice communications, is adding augmented reality (AR) lenses to Viber through a partnership with Snap Inc. Using Snap's tools, including the Camera Kit, Creative Kit and Bitmoji, AR lenses will be available on Viber that can also be distributed to Snapchat. Viber will also add Bitmoji avatars that can be customized.

Viber lenses powered by Snap will be open to the public for the first timeViber users video messages and photos with AR (augmented reality) support. The launch includes 30 new Viber lenses, including various animal masks, Viber characters, an "Underwater World" lens, fun interactions with cats and more.
