According to company representatives, the first will bemobile devices based on 4 Gen 1. They should be expected already in the fourth quarter of 2022. As for the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, it will debut in smartphones only in the first quarter of 2023.

So far, Qualcomm has not shared the full specifications of the chips. She only said that the younger model operates at a frequency of 2 GHz, exceeds the CPU of its predecessor by 15%, and the GPU by 10%.

As for the mid-range processor, it is 35% more powerful in terms of CPU and 40% faster in GPU workloads. It works at a frequency of 2.2 GHz.

Among other things, it can be noted that Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will support cameras with a resolution of up to 200 megapixels.
