Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 followed in the footsteps of Google Tensor? Core architecture

This fall, Qualcomm will introduce a new flagship chipset SM8650, tentatively called Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

We recently discovered that prototype testinghas already begun and they are impressive with an impressive increase in graphics performance. But we are talking about a chip with a 1+5+2 core configuration (one super-powerful Cortex-X4, five productive A7xx and a pair of economical A5xx). However, insider Digital Chat Station reports the existence of an alternative version of the chip with a 2+4+2 set. Previously, paired super-powerful X-cores were found only in Google Tensor chips. It is unclear which version of the SM8650 will make it to release, but another important aspect is reliably known: Samsung was not entrusted with the production of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and therefore TSMC will again produce it using the N4P technical process. Let's exhale!
