Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will get a new core structure and a maximum frequency of 3.7 GHz

Qualcomm will introduce a new generation flagship mobile processor this year. He will be a replacement

for Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and will be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

What is known

Part of the technical specifications of the new chipdisclosed by an insider Digital Chat Station. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will receive a new core structure: one Prime core, five performance cores and two "small" cores. The maximum frequency will be a record 3.7 GHz. The graphics subsystem will be represented by Adreno 750 GPU.

The processor will be manufactured at 4nmTSMC N4P technology. The N4P node was introduced a year and a half ago. This process technology is still pretty good, so the Taiwanese company is in no hurry to switch to 3 nm.
