Qualcomm recently introduced its new top-end Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be the "heart" of many
Qualcomm provided a benchmark for testinga smartphone with a 5.9-inch display, 12 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM and a Snapdragon 865 chip. Tests were conducted in a mode that prefers performance rather than battery life.
In AnTuTu, the processor scored a record 540,000 points. This is more than any other chip on the market, including the A13 Bionic.
But in other tests, the results are different. In the Geekbench 5, the Snapdragon 865 scores 935 and 3450 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. A13 Bionic has better performance: 1334 and 3480 points.
In the Speed Test GX 2.0, the Snapdragon 865 performed in 36.6 seconds, the Apple A13 Bionic in 40 seconds, and the Snapdragon 855 in 45.3 seconds.
