Social network "Odnoklassniki" fined 4 million rubles

The Magistrate's Court fined the Odnoklassniki social network 4 million rubles for failing to remove calls to go to the

Rallies on January 23.

Officially, the social network was punished for not removingof prohibited content under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code, writes "MBH Media". The companies were fined two million rubles in each case. Odnoklassniki said they intend to appeal the court decision.

Let us recall that on January 20, Roskomnadzor demanded that social networks stop disseminating information “aimed at involving minors in committing illegal actions.”

It seems that Odnoklassniki became the firstsocial network, which received a real fine for calls to participate in rallies. Earlier, Roskomnadzor promised to draw up protocols on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, YouTube and Telegram under Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code.
